SAMARITAN'S PURSE - WESTMINSTER THEOLOGICAL ACADEMY PASTOR'S TRAINING

May 12, 2025

We are in the final preparation stage for the first sessions of a Pastoral Training Program in which we are partnering with Samaritan’s Purse to put on for approximately 100 Pastors and Elder in Nimba County. The first session will involve a thirty (30) lesson survey of the whole Bible. The program will kick off on May 19, 2025. The second session will be conduct in July and will consist of fifteen lessons surveying Church History and fifteen lessons surveying Systematic Theology. In the final session to be conducted in October, we plan to cover Practical Theology (or The Christian Life) and Pastoral Theology. We greatly appreciate your prayers for this Program.

The Liberia Project: 2020 June News

Our brothers and sisters in Liberia have found it extremely difficult during this global shutdown.

Food is also being provided to members of churches in Sinkor, Ganta, Karnplay, and Yekepa this week and over the next several weeks as Liberia inches toward flattening the Covid cases curve.

We hope and pray that counties in and around Monrovia will open back up by the end of the month and people will be able to return to work.

Thanks so much to those of you who have given to help fund these efforts to provide much needed food in Liberia.  Here are a couple of comments from two of the Pastors we work with:

“I would like to register our profound appreciation for the support raised by you and your church to our hungry children and families to be fed, as Covid 19 continues to disturb our one world. Thank you.”

Pastor Elijah Debah, for Orthodox Trinity Bible Church and the children.

“Our gratitude to the PRC and you in particular pastor Tim Worrell of the united States of America and to all those who are of this kind gesture to the NCC children that are desperately need of food items, because of this corona virus crisis that is destroying both economy and life of our one world. May God heal the world and the wounds of sorrows that this Covid 19 has caused in Jesus Christ name Amen.”

Pastor Timothy Begg, New Covenant Church
